James is an entrepreneur who started his first business, a programming company, at the age of 18. His programming company gave opportunity to another entrepreneur venture, War-Toys.com. This online business was a family owned and operated business. The business gained distributor status and a warehouse was built to operate the business.
During the time of the business, James was mentored in many business aspects by his father, John Oravec Jr., who has a MBA. With the business's gross revenue reaching over several million, the selling of this business venture allowed James attend and complete his graduate studies, in addition to being able to invest in real estate.
One of James' hobbies is mathematics, he has taken advanced math courses for fun, and teaches students on a weekly basis who are part of his Math and Arithmetic Club (MAC). James is active in the community, teaching karate and tutoring individuals in math and computer science courses.
James' background in computer science gives him a unique skill set that allows him to offer marketing services, which are not commonly offered. He is a partner on all of his listings with G. Rodney Harbaugh, who has over 30 years of real estate experience.
